This color is reminiscent of a garden in early spring. Soft sage and moss green form the base, with accents of light yellow and a touch of pink running through like blossoms. The transitions are smooth, with subtle speckles providing extra depth.
Spring Garden is dyed on the same base: superwash merino (mulesing-free) with bamboo, in fingering weight with approx. 400 meters per skein. The merino provides softness and elasticity, while the bamboo adds a light sheen and a graceful drape.
This base is just slightly thicker than the sock weight yarn I currently use. It still falls within fingering weight, but knits up a bit fuller. This makes it perfect for shawls, light sweaters or cardigans, and also for socks with a bit more body.
In stockinette stitch, you’ll see soft patches of green, yellow, and pink alternating without harsh contrasts. The result is fresh, natural, and easy to pair with cream, dark green, or soft gray.
This is the last skein. When it’s gone, it’s gone. Re-dyeing on this base is not possible.
A hand-dyed fingering skein with fresh greens and soft pink accents – calm, yet with enough nuance to stay interesting. 🌿🧶
