S7ors was born from the need to create.
Working with colour, experimenting and having something tangible in your hands.

What started as a creative outlet slowly grew into a place where I share my hand-dyed yarns and small accessories.

πŸ’› Behind the scenes

Alongside S7ors, I work four days a week as a Community Mental Health Nurse in forensic psychiatry.
That work can be intense, and that is exactly why dyeing is so valuable to me.

It helps me to clear my head and create something beautiful again.
Something soft, something colourful, something that someone else can use to make something themselves.

🎨 About the dyeing

I work in small batches and often let myself be guided by an idea, a colour or a theme.
Sometimes a whole series is created, sometimes it stays as a single batch.

Many of my products are therefore limited edition β€” once they’re gone, they’re really gone.

🧢 What you can expect

  • Products made with care
  • Hand-dyed yarns with their own character
  • Small, unique batches
  • Playful and thematic collections

πŸ’› For whom

S7ors is for makers who love colour, softness and something that is just that little bit different.
For projects that bring you joy β€” whether they are big or small.

Everything you find here is dyed with care, ready to be brought further to life by you.

Sustainable and animal-friendly πŸ‘

I exclusively work with mulesing-free, Oeko-Tex certified wool and use environmentally friendly acid dyes. This is not only better for the world but also for your project. And the colours? They remain beautiful, wash after wash.

Where does the name come from? πŸ€“

β€˜S7ors’ is a nod to my son’s name, Sjors. The β€˜7’ instead of the β€˜j’ is a silly habit from my youth when, as an avid user of the Amiga computer, I participated in the trend of replacing letters with numbers – something that was very cool back then πŸ˜„.

You inspire me πŸ’›

My biggest source of inspiration? That’s you. Your creative projects, sweet messages and beautiful photos make this adventure special every day. A nice review or a tag on Instagram with your creation? That’s what energises me!

I’m also active on Instagram myself – to find inspiration, share new ideas and especially to see what’s being made with my yarns. Are you following me there yet? You can find me at @s7ors – it’s great if you join in! 😊

Have a question? Feel free to send me a message. I’m happy to help!
