What is a sock blank actually?
A sock blank is a pre-knitted cloth of sock yarn (fingering weight), which you can easily unravel while knitting or crocheting. You simply pull the thread out of the knitting, just like with a thread spool – but with a color surprise along the way! The slight wave effect of the unraveled thread usually disappears by itself when washing and blocking.

Important facts:

• Each sock blank is hand-dyed and unique – so I can’t exactly recreate it.

• Dyed on mulesing-free merino wool with nylon, so wonderfully soft and strong.

• Approximately 400 meters of yarn, enough for a pair of socks or a small scarf.
