Sheep has built a weather machine on the hill behind the studio. Not because it brings any peace of mind, but because the rain seems to have been skirting around the valley for far too long.
The machine features copper pipes, brass gauges, weathered wood, and glass reservoirs. There is a large handwheel, a small leak, and a manual that offers a remarkable number of warnings against optimism. Storm clouds hang above the hill; further off, light breaks through.
Cloudbusting is an original S7oRS story about a wondrous machine and the hope for rain. The colour palette shifts from thundery blue and leaden grey to rain-silver, copper, and the light after the storm. The exact colours remain under the bonnet for now.
As always, everything is hand-dyed in the S7oRS studio. Small variations between skeins or sets are part of the charm.

This Yarn Club is available from 3 October 2026. We will pack and ship it during the weekend of 3–4 October 2026.
