Not every fleece behaves the same.

One fiber is soft and compliant. Another shines, bounces, prickles a bit, or has strong opinions on the direction of the twist.

Dr. Lambie doesn’t judge. He merely notes carefully:

Full of character. Good appetite. Possibly stubborn.

In this Fiberclub, you’ll receive three different 50 g tops of hand-dyed spinning wool. Together they form one color world, but each top has its own character and spinning experience.

The fiber types are a surprise. It could be a recognizable sheep breed, a blend, or a combination chosen for color, texture, and spinning fun.

You will receive:

• 3 tops of spinning wool
• 50 g per top
• 150 g fiber total
• 3 matching colorways
• a story or card from Dr. Lambie’s practice
• fun extras

The fibers

The exact fiber types are not announced in advance.

This leaves room to discover:

• how the fiber feels;
• how long the staple is;
• how much luster or crimp it has;
• how it reacts to different preparations;
• what happens during spinning, plying, and washing.

There is no right outcome and no micron exam.

You can:

• spin the tops separately;
• combine them;
• blend them;
• process them sequentially;
• spin thick or thin;
• or simply admire them at length while pretending that’s work too.

Who is it for?

This Fiberclub is suitable for spinners who:

• love discovering new fibers;
• enjoy surprises;
• want to try different spinning methods;
• enjoy color, texture, and sheep breeds;
• prefer exploring over following a set recipe.

Some spinning experience is helpful, but you don’t need to be a walking fiber encyclopedia.

• The fibers are hand-dyed.
• Each top is unique and may vary slightly.
• Dark or intense colors may bleed slightly during the first wash.
• Fiber types are chosen based on availability, quality, and suitability for the concept.
