Bumblebee – Fingering Merino with bio nylon (self-striping)

Bumblebee is a powerful combination of deep dark brown and warm honey yellow. The high-contrast color blocks alternate to create a bold, almost graphic effect. In socks, this skein knits up self-striping, with the yellow and brown following each other in distinct bands.

This skein is dyed on my fingering weight base of superwash merino (mulesing-free) with bio nylon:

• Approx. 400 m

• Soft and bouncy

• Extra durable thanks to the bio nylon

• Beautiful stitch definition

This base is slightly thicker than my current sock base. It still falls within fingering weight, but knits up a bit fuller and sturdier — ideal for durable socks with clear stripes.
