The Winter Fairytales Advent Calendar 2026 takes you through 24 days of hand-dyed yarn, inspired by winter forests, old storybooks, snowy castles, and little fairytale encounters along the way.
Every day you open a new package and discover the next chapter of the story. Slowly, a color palette unfolds that belongs together from the first day to the last. Not a random collection of colors, but an adventure told piece by piece.
The calendar is entirely assembled by hand. I dye all the yarns myself in my studio, and the packaging is also crafted with great care. Just like last year, Kelly uses her Cricut to make the packaging for all calendars. This makes every package feel like a little gift waiting to be unwrapped.
This year’s theme is Winter Fairytales. Think of snowy forests, hidden paths, warm lights behind small windows, and stories that are best enjoyed with knitting on your lap and a cup of tea within reach.
And of course, there is a sheep.
Because some traditions shouldn’t be questioned.
