On July 5, 2025, the 112th edition of the Tour de France will begin. But for spinners around the world, it means something else: the start of the Tour de Fleece!
The Tour de Fleece is an annual spinning festival that runs parallel to the Tour de France. While the cyclists brave the mountains and plains on their bikes, making their wheels spin 🚴♂️, we sit at home behind our spinning wheels or with a spindle in hand. From July 5 to July 27, our wheels turn in sync with those of the riders — spinning a little each day, trying new techniques, or just joyfully working through your fiber stash. It’s all about participating, challenging yourself, and enjoying the pleasure of being creative ✨.
Especially for this unique event, I have put together a mystery spinbox full of surprises:
