Radioactive is an intense neon green that is truly fluorescent. This color almost seems to glow and really pops — bright during the day, even more striking under blacklight. Fun at the disco, safe on your bike 😉
The color shifts between sharp neon lime and slightly deeper greens, keeping your knitting vibrant without looking flat. This isn’t a subtle color — it’s a statement.
This skein is dyed on my fingering weight base of superwash merino (mulesing-free) with bio nylon:
Approx. 400 m
Soft and supple
Extra durable thanks to the bio nylon
Beautiful stitch definition
This base is slightly thicker than my current sock base. It’s still a fingering weight, but knits up a bit fuller and sturdier. Perfect for durable socks, but also great as a popping accent in colorwork or stripes.
In stockinette, Radioactive gives a powerful, almost electric effect with subtle tonality.
This is the last skein. This color will not be dyed again. When it’s gone, it’s gone.
🧶 Combination tip
Combine Radioactive with black or charcoal for a bold, graphic effect. With off-white or cool gray, it becomes fresher and more modern. Feeling bold? Navy blue or deep purple makes the neon pop even more.
