The Yarnbox of Tour de Fleece 2026 is a time travel on your needle. With 21 hand-dyed mini-skeins (25g) inspired by different eras; from the Stone Age to the 80s and three rest day surprises, knit or crochet your way through history. A new color every day, each bag a little party!
🐑 Fiberbox “Retour en Laine”
For the spinners: 21 mini-rovings of 25g on alternating fibers, each in colors that reflect a different era. From Viking red to futuristic purple, with 3 rest days full of little surprises. A new roving every day, every turn of the spinning wheel a piece of history.
🧺 Combibox “Bundle de Fleece”
Can’t choose between spinning or knitting? Then the Bundle de Fleece is your dream package! 21 mini skeins and 21 mini rovings of 25g, beautifully packaged per day. With extras on the rest days and a bonus on day 21. For the all-round wool lover who wants to experience everything.
💡 Budgetbox “Petite Boucle”
Join in your way! The Budgetbox contains 7 hand-dyed minis of 25g (yarn or spinning wool), with a rest day extra. Ideal as an introduction or if you prefer to start small.

The very first Tour de Fleece in 2006 was started as a nod to the Tour de France? While the riders were working their calves in the mountains, spinners worldwide were turning their wheels. It has now grown into a creative summer festival in which more and more knitters and crocheters are participating – with minis, projects per stage or simply as a daily yarn gift. Whether you spin, knit or crochet: the Tour de Fleece is all about fun, inspiration and something beautiful in your hands every day. And now, 20 years later, we continue to enjoy ourselves… this time back in time! 🚴♀️🧶
🧠 Did you know #2…
The very first Tour de France in 1903 consisted of only six stages – but they were so long that some riders cycled through the night with a kerosene lamp on their handlebars! 🚴♂️ Since then, a lot has changed (fortunately, the lighting too), but one thing has remained the same: the perseverance, day after day. That is precisely what makes the Tour de Fleece so much fun! Whether you’re working on your sock, spinning a thread or slowly seeing a blanket grow… every day counts!
📦 Shipping:
The Tour de Fleece boxes will be shipped in the second week of June 2026, well in time for the start of the Tour. This way you can start with your first mini on June 27 – whether you are going to spin, knit or just want to open a gift every day. You will receive an email in advance as soon as your package is on its way.
