🍬 Soft, cheerful, and almost good enough to eat – Liquorice Allsorts in wool form
Like opening a bag of licorice allsorts, but in wool form: black, pink, white, and purple playfully alternate. No worries: this skein is pure wool – but it looks good enough to eat (don’t do it). The playful combination of soft pastel shades with dark contrast makes this yarn both striking and elegant at the same time.
The yarn is hand-dyed on a base of 75% superwash merino (19.5 micron, mulesing-free) and 25% nylon. Soft enough for the most sensitive skin, strong enough for socks that can take a beating. Available as sock yarn (400 m per 100 g) or DK (220 m per 100 g).
🧶 Composition: 75% superwash merino, 25% nylon
🧶 Needle size: 2.25–3 mm (sock) or 3.5–4.5 mm (DK)
🧶 Structure: smooth, sturdy, and cheerfully speckled
Ordering multiple skeins? I’ll make sure they come from the same dye bath for a consistent color progression. And if the stock is temporarily out? I’ll gladly dye especially for you 🎨
Whether you’re knitting socks in black and white, crocheting a pink-gray scarf, or making a hat with a hint of purple – English Licorice brings color and character to your project. Just like the candy itself, this yarn combines shades that go surprisingly well together – and did you know that famous mix was created by accident? A vendor once dropped various types of licorice together, and voilà: a classic was born.
This yarn isn’t for eating – but admit it, it’s close 😉🍬
