Hand-dyed German Merino Roving 25 Micron in Raspberry Pink.

This hand-dyed German organic Merino top in raspberry pink is 25 micron and 100 grams. Like all my Merino products, it is mulesing-free.

This soft Merino roving is ideal for spinning, felting or can be divided into smaller sections for use in weaving, knitting or crochet projects.

When using this wool for spinning or felting, it’s recommended to pre-draft the fiber a bit before starting. This roving is particularly suitable for beginners or for use with a drop spindle and offers a relaxed and easy spinning experience. For knitting, crocheting or weaving, you can easily divide the wool into narrow strips.

The wool is lovingly hand-dyed with acid dye – the colors are intense and stay beautiful 🌈.

The micron in wool refers to the thickness of the fibers – the finer the wool, the lower the micron count and the softer and more luxurious it feels. However, this also makes the fiber “slipperier”, which can make it more difficult to felt or spin.
