Hello there, yarn lovers! Exciting news!!! The June Mystery Yarn Club pre-order is now OPEN! This month’s theme is “The Old Dutch Candy Store”.
You have some great yarn options to choose from: 5 mini skeins, 5 mini skeins with an extra skein of 50 grams, a cozy sock set or a generous package with large skeins. Each set is dyed on superwashed 75% superfine merino/25% nylon sock yarn, or on 100% superwashed fine merino in DK weight.
In the mini string set, you will receive five 20-gram mini strands.
The mini plus sock set “The Knitting Grandma” contains five mini skeins of 20 grams and one skein of 50 grams.
With the sock set, you get a 50-gram skein and two 20-gram mini skeins.
And if you go for the large skein set, you will enjoy three large skeins of 100 grams each!
This yarn is fingering weight, braided and gives you 400 meters per 100 grams of skein, while the DK sets offer 225 meters per 100 grams.
Need help with size? Take a needle size between 2.5 – 4 mm (that’s US size 1.5 – 6) or a C-G crochet hook. Try to make 28 stitches and 36 needles over 10 cm with 3.25 mm (US 3) needles.
Just a reminder: hand wash in cold water and dry flat!
