Mini skein hand spun tussah silk, tencel and merino blend yarn. Lace weight. In natural beige.

$22.46

Details

This luxurious yarn is hand spun out of unbleached tussah silk and fine merino wool. It is plied with a thin tencel tread. Most of the skein is lace weight with some bulkier parts for a nice texture.

This silky yarn will be perfect to use as an accent yarn for an Item you want to wear. Such as a scarf or a necklace. It wil be also great to add it into a weaving project or to use it as an accent yarn in larger knitting projects.

Of course, the yarn is produced in a smoke free environment.

As a graphic designer I learned to play with colours and textures. I love to tranlate that knowledge to my fibre art. I love to 'paint' with fibre. I hope to inspire people to bring some colour in their projects.

Frequently Asked Questions

I love your art yarns, but what can I do with it?

Art yarn can be used in lots of different ways. You can use it to create a stunning detail in a larger knitting/crochet/weaving/fiber art project. Or you can use it for smaller projects like a necklace or scarf. I recommend to search for art yarn projects on Ravelry and Pinterest for inspiration. But be careful, once you’ve tried hand spun yarn, you’ll be hooked! :-)
