When I was driving to work, I passed some tulip fields just before it started to rain. On one part of the field there was still some bright sunshine and on the other side the sky was dark and heavy with rain. It was such a beautiful and special picture I instantly stopped to watch and sketch it. I used the idea to make this wool needle felted wall hanging.
The wool painting is needle felted on a (hand) wet felted background. The product is made out of 100% European originated wool. The grey background is Scottish and the colored Merino wool originates from Germany.
If you want you can frame this painting, but if you like, you can also hang it on the wall like I showed on the pictures. I made a little cotton loop on the back for that purpose.
The dimensions are 74 x 28 cm or 29 x 11 Inch
