Details

This hand-dyed sock weight yarn is super soft and features fluorescent speckles. It is made out of 15% Tussah Silk and 85% Polwarth Wool. I recommend using needle size 3-4 mm with this yarn. It is so soft that you can wear it directly against your skin, making it perfect for baby clothing.

Polwarth wool is incredibly soft, with a micron width between 22-25 microns, similar to most Merino yarns. It has a staple length of 4-6 inches and is less prone to pilling. Knitters and crocheters love working with it as it has good stitch definition.

You can use this yarn for both large and small projects, such as socks, beanies, or scarves. It is 4 Ply with WPI 18-24 and a tension of 28 Stitches and 36 Rows.
