Hand painted, felted and carved mobile. Flowers on an Elderwood branch.
This mobile is made out of materials I collected trough time. I used beads I found in a small shop in Haarlem. I used pieces of egg carton I painted with my two year old son. The branch is from a big Elder bush in my parents' garden and I made the felt for a project I can't even remember :-)
Somehow they came together on a rainy sunday afternoon and I think the result is stunning, they were really meant for each other.
I assembled the mobile with embroidery thread and finished the branch and carton with a few layers of Lacquer.

Frequently Asked Questions
I love your art yarns, but what can I do with it?
Art yarn can be used in lots of different ways. You can use it to create a stunning detail in a larger knitting/crochet/weaving/fiber art project. Or you can use it for smaller projects like a necklace or scarf. I recommend to search for art yarn projects on Ravelry and Pinterest for inspiration. But be careful, once you’ve tried hand spun yarn, you’ll be hooked! :-)
