Chuncky knit, hand dyed Merino wool wall hanging in lemon and lime. With beads and feathers.
This lemon and lime wall hanging is made out of hand dyed Merino wool and has all sorts of fun details made with thread, beads, feathers and a hand peeled Elder wood branch.
The wall hanging is about 35 cm or 13.8" high
This wall hanging is knitted out of strips of Merino roving and instead of finishing the knitting on the end, I placed it on an Elder wood stick. After that I spiced things up with embroidery thread, wooden and clay beads and some feathers. The fringe on the bottom of the hanging is dip dyed.

Frequently Asked Questions
I love your art yarns, but what can I do with it?
Art yarn can be used in lots of different ways. You can use it to create a stunning detail in a larger knitting/crochet/weaving/fiber art project. Or you can use it for smaller projects like a necklace or scarf. I recommend to search for art yarn projects on Ravelry and Pinterest for inspiration. But be careful, once you’ve tried hand spun yarn, you’ll be hooked! :-)
